Well, Hello there! Thanks for checking out the blog. My name is Andrew. I live the beautiful mountain country of Narrows, VA home of the Green Waves. I grew up just a little ways south in Carroll County VA and it is there that I meet my amazing wife Felecia, although we did not find each other amazing at the time.
After high school I attended Liberty University and graduated with a BA in Biblical Studies. Currently I work as the Pastor of Student Ministries at First Baptist Narrows where I get to tell kids about a God who loves them more than they can imagine, and tell them where they are wrong on the whole LeBron v Jordan debate. I absolutely love wife, son (Kalvin), and my job. While growing up I always loved the idea of adventures and super-heros, thank you saturday morning cartoons.
This lead to a love of all things with a big letter on their chest, underwear on the outside of their pants, super human abilities, and the responsibilities that come with it. In short I fell hard for superheroes and comics.
As I have grown in my love for comic books and the heroes they depict it has become hard for me to find good information about such a vast literary world; especially living in a such a rural area. Because of that and the strong belief that good storytelling is for the soul I wanted to provide a resource for anyone out there who just wants to know more. I hope this site is a help.
